Our Active Group has About 30 Troopers Known as the Dismounted Skirmishers, Company E, and About 20 Mounted Troopers, Company A, Which Is Our Battle Group.  Ok, it's a bit more than just chilly....it's just down right COLD here!! We're looking at 16 with a wind chill making it feel like 10 here in the ole Buckeye State tonight! BURRRRRRR!!!! THE DOC SAYS I AM THE BEST THAT MY HEART IS DOING GOOD AS LONG AS THE ICD IS STILL RUNNING AND I HAVEN'T HEARD ANY BEEPS LATELY,SO IT MUST BE DOING FINE. MY CLOSE FRIEND WITH THE CANCER HAS FINISHED ALL THE TREATMENTS AND GOES FOR A CT SCAN TUESDAY TO SEE IF THEY GOT IT ALL. I HOPE WITH GOD'S BLESSING IT IS ALL GONE. Just dropping in to say hello- The weather today was a 4 letter alert- SNOW. It really was snowing more at night- nah, no sticking but lots of wet all around. You know the kind of the 1st snow.
This evening, we went to the Bolingbrook shopping center- a new one less than 1 yo and a out door type. The attraction was that they had a Christmas light display- a gigantic tree lit with lights coordinated to music (TransSiberan Orchestra and Mannheim Steamroller) and the Hot Choc was was really good too. A huge bon-fire furnace type thing and snow flake lights flashing on the tops of shops- very good and cheap too- because it was free.
Even though I don't want to get into the Christmas mood this early- it was great and it was snowing so Ho, Ho, Ho.
There seems to a battle of the Holidays on my block. Thanksgiving harvest vs Christmas. Christmas is winning.. Next week my DH is putting the outside Christmas lights right over my harvest-Thanksgiving decorations.
The BEARS were terrible today. Yuck!
